Tuning explores how time is experienced through the different rhythms that coexist within a place. The work follows bodily and environmental rhythms: reflexes, subtle shivers, startles, itches, weather, changing light and the biorhythms of other species. These small responses form the choreography, drawing attention to movements and temporalities that often remain beneath immediate perception. The process of making Tuning embraces fragmentation, following multiple timelines as they overlap, diverge and occasionally meet. The work imagines a space in which different rhythms of life can exist alongside one another, without being organised by a single measure of time.

Tuning premiered on September 3rd at 6:00 am in the morning, at DAS Choreography, Amsterdam.
